Ok, i have understand what is the nvidia.smi command line and how to play with that. The max TDP set in the gpu bios will not change, but that 15w tdp boost (in some laptop is 25w) is a good amount of performance increase (for me a 10/15% fps increase in cyberpunk), so if you will be able to implement a fix in NVCleaninstall to enable the slider for newer driver, every nvidia laptop user will be soo grateful, and I will be the first one I forgot to mention in the first message that the slider, with that specific driver, is available only MSI afterbuner.ĭisabling NVIDIA controller the gpu will not be limited by the cpu wattage usage. you can go over 100% with that slider to allow the gpu use the dynamic boost TDP. at 100% it will limit the TDP of the card at the non dynamic boost TDP (in my case 80w) That slider, in laptop with NVIDIA dynamic boost capable GPU, work like this:
